    In order to make things more fun for you, we're gonna have a mini-contest that occurs every 1000pageviews. Next is 14 000pageviews. The first member to printscreen it and send it in a note will win a feature of 3deviations of his choice.

    :star: THE CLUB HAS ALMOST 300 MEMBERS AND YET IT ROUGHLY RECEIVES 2 SUBMISSIONS A WEEK. I will take that as a lack of interest in the area we promote(vintage photography) and also in this club in particular.

    THEREFORE, I WANT YOU TO DECIDE WHEATHER OR NOT THE CLUB SHOULD CLOSE DOWN.

    Furthermore,
    IF NO ONE REPLIES TO THIS JOURNAL, BY COMMENT, STATING HIS/HER DISAPROVAL, THE CLUB WILL CLOSE DOWN IN A WEEK.

    All members will remain on the clubs watchlist, but you can delete the club from yours, as well as removing the club from your journals(if you added us) because the club will NOT FUNCTION any longer.
    The club will also keep all your submitted works as favourites.

I am happy to see there are at least a few people that want this club to function. But 12 people(acctually 11, because *WildRainOfIceAndFire represents *BucurestiClub ) out of 298 simply shows that the majority(and what a striking majority it is) feels otherwise.

In respect for those 11, I am not going to close the club. BUT .. I need an admin to manage it because I fear that in a few weeks I will not have time for anything else than school(I'm in my senior year in highschool and have tones of homework & tests & tutoring & I have to prepare for both my graduation exam <<Bacalaureat>> and my University admition-exams. )
So, if anyone has enough time on their hands and would like to be the admin, please let me know.

What is retro/vintage

  • :star: In order to help to help you understand what retro and/or vintage acctually is I am going to provide a list below of useful sites. I URGE you all to go and take a looksee , I am not forcing you to read everything, I just want you to be informed. The reason I am doing this is because I received a lot of submission that were not even in the same ball-park with what this club is looking for and I am starting to feel really bad and quite awkward to keep telling people I can't submit their work. :cries:

    So here is the list:


  • I will spend some time later on in perfectioning this journal so it could be easier for all of you to understand the meaning of retro/vintage.

  • Every submission will be placed in the current week's Collection as well as in the current month's Collection

  • You will receive a screenshot of submissions, with a link to the Collection and Original photos

  • Submissions will be closed by time to time. This will give me time to organise other club stuff and my personal. You will be always informed

  • RESPECT yourselves and the other members! If a member is caught using swear words or having a rude disposition he will be banned from the club and risks being reported to the * Almighty's * of dA.

    Quality is more important than quantity!
